Bio

Beijing-born Regina Montenegro is the second daughter of Gregory Montenegro and Zhang Mèngyáo. Her father used to serve as a newscaster before establishing his own publishing company, GC Media, after marriage. Her mother, on the other hand, is the founder of a communications consulting firm, mainly handling public relations for various celebrities, politicians, and businesses. The family moved back to the Philippines when she was 6, and she attended Colegio San Agustin Makati for her grade school and high school education. During this period, Regina's parents put her in different extracurricular activities, leading her to discover her interest in writing.

Originally wishing to pursue a career in law, Regina changed her mind after coming across a copy of Moda, a renowned international fashion publication. With the intent to work in British Moda, she sent in an application to Central Saint Martins, where she eventually continued her college education.During her time in London, Regina begins to build her resume by connecting with up-and-coming designers and seeking mentorship from industry professionals, landing small gigs in productions, shoots, and even runway shows. It was also at this time that she began to document her life through social media, sharing blog posts, vlogs, and projects she has been working on.

Upon graduation, Regina had already worked with or had caught the attention of various fashion brands, which jump-started her career as a creative consultant while also remaining a content creator. She moves back to the Philippines to broaden her reach to the local fashion landscape. As she continues to solidify her position in the industry, Moda also begins its search for a company to partner with for a Filipino franchise of the magazine. The distribution rights are eventually acquired by GC Media, and Regina is appointed to become editor-in-chief at just 27 years old.

Today, Regina continues to lead Moda PH and intends to stay in her position for as long as she likes.
